Mallory distributor wiring help

Can someone help with wiring colors on a Mallory distributor?

Red (+) positive

green. ??

Brown. ?? Assuming ground given the eye end??

this PDF has a simple offical looking diagram of green, red, and brown wires involving a Mallory distributor. ...might be of help..IDK.

don't know for sure but looks like it's showing brown going to ground, red to ballast resistor and green to coil.

be careful some of these require additional parts as a" power cell " read any instructions you can find THEY DONT LIKE SPIKES and wont last Generators are spike creators just by their construction but if its wired correctly they will work
