Main Bearing Bolt Finish on 29 engine

Cant seem to find that answer in the JS.. I need the finish on the main bearing bolts. I was told it was CAD Plated??
this is for a 29 engine
 
Mark, I am pretty sure you were mislead as I am 99.9% certain they were unfinished along with the nut and the cotter pin too. Since I do not have the Stds close by, I am working off of memory but if I do recall correctly, there is a chart in Area 1 that lists all of the finishes of the hardware.
 
Mark. Check the parts book post your engine date. You only want the finish on the castle nuts.
 
Ok wait.. the cotter is unfinished but what is the finish on the Castle NUT???? Un- finished also and NOT Ford Green??
 
Mark, I had a moment to look in the Standards, and on page 1-10, there is a chart that specifically shows the bolt, the nut, AND the cotter pins as 'U' (Unfinished). The engines were painted prior to assembly so this would account for why the hardware is not painted green.

Just saw myself and thank you, so what i see is the head nuts are the ONLY Cad plating
