Magneto Misfires at High Speed

Just got my rebuilt 26 engine back in and fired it up. I went to extremes to make sure magneto was set up right (recharged magnets from Ron Patterson and got coils rebuilt by him. Meticulously set the gap between coil ring and magnet faces to specification. Anderson timer installed. I can start the car on magneto, but at higher speeds it misfires. Any thoughts?

Maybe your car's guardian angle is preventing improper speeds at break-in?

Fuel flow problem at higher speed? Timer not centered?

By "higher speeds" I mean driving speeds after shifting out of low and giving it a little throttle. Not driving it at 50 or 60...

Try adjusting your spray needle, or could be you are not advancing your spark enough.
