Has any one here tried or used one of Speedways electronic Distributors that looks like a magneto? they are made by Joe Hunt. I have a 30 model A coupe that has a y-block in it with a Mallory dual point dual-life distributor in it that has had a pertronic's conversion done to it by the previous owner. I am thinking about getting rid of it, and replacing it with something more modern, but with hot rod "looks ". there are a lot of little problems with this car that need worked out. it is a fresh build that has passed through at least 3 people before me. it only had 4 miles on the odometer when I got it. the previous owners all had different levels of workmanship that can be seen on the car. It is basically very well built and then it looks that as it neared the end of the build it was hastily slapped together to sell. I will be asking a lot of questions about several different things on the y-block . thanks for any information, and insight anyone can provide.-----Jim
