The ballots were all counted this week and I'm happy to say that I was elected to the MAFCA National Board for a 2-year term.

Many thanks to all of you that supported me with your votes and by asking others to vote for me. :)

I know what I'm getting into here, having served on the Board once before, so I'm excited. We have 2 new faces on the Board, starting in January. That's good. Fresh people bring fresh ideas and perspectives that can only help make the club stronger.

Congrats. I appreciate your campaigning for yourself.

It is hard to know who is the best candidate for club offices. I remember when you were tech director and enjoyed your columns. I also know your posts from here and met you at Hershey last year.

Congratulations Jim good to hear. There were a number of very capable people running for election. No one person would have been a bad choice in my eye.

Congratulations Jim, I enjoyed meeting you at the Model A museum last month. I hope see you next year in Hiawassee.
