Calling All Ford Barners,

Not sure who started the idea but I think that the barners meeting up at the MARC National is a good idea. How about the MAFCA National/Int'l in B.C.? Maybe we could meet at the host hotel one night after all the days activities for a group photo?

Great idea, the erly V8 people do it all the time along with fordbarn name tags, but they usually set it up before the meet happens.

The Model A Times will have a space at the swap meet on Monday and Tuesday if a place is located for the group picture we could put a notice for people.
 
Yes , great idea to have a get together & sink a few tinnies, bring the sheilas along too, Put us down for four to attend, John can you keep a list , make a time & place & let us all know, Derek from a chilly NZ.
 
Let me get in touch with the Lions Gate club and see about a suiteable location and then I post a quick poll for date and time.

Sounds like a great idea to me to have a small social of Fordbarners. If it goes ahead we might have to throw in a few bucks to cover the cost of the room, but that should not be a problem.
 
As soon as we have a location I will post it at the swap meet. I know Greg Weast is up in Canada right now. He has located a park that might be the place to do this. We are talking about maybe doing a pizza thing since the park does not have any bbq facilities for a burger burn.
 
How about a roll call of people who are going to be in B.C. for the national. This way we can get an accurate count for either a room size or for food.

I have helped Greg with several Burger Burns and they are a lot of fun. As John states Greg was on family business and was checking things out. We spoke several times and thought of renting a barbie. Greg mentioned that having a pizza feed might be a smarter move this time around. In Portland he had the grill going outside his hotel room. Whenever we needed anything he'd just jump through the window to get it. It was a riot. The room idea (if any are available) sounds interesting. :cool:
