Thanks Mitch for stopping by, and all the fellow Fordbarner's. Think i had the best spot on the field [between 2 tree's.:D ] .How many "A"s do you think were there:confused:. I put it at about 125 to 150. The best turn out over all. Had plenty of company under those tree's being one of the few places for someone to sit out of the sun:cool:. Again thanks and i'll be sending in my score sheets i showed you and others soon for the mistakes made on "points" on carry-over from column to column! I can't believe 3 pages out of 8 on a total of 23 pg... As some of us spoke about ***CLOSED*** post still going on thread amount viewed. 4847. Guess they like my picture MOONING the nick pickers... L.O.L.

That is a great turn out of Model A's! Were there lots of Brass Cars & T's as well. Pete, any chance you might bring the 180A to the HCCA Meet in Reading, Ct. September 11? Not the same as the good old days in Ridgefield, but one guy does turn up with a few Model A Town Cars.

I'll post some [Brass CARS pictures] .BEST turn out on them some people said. Might make that show in Reading with the boys. My ice chest did not fit in the luggage rack:( "but it did fit in the back seat:)..Mamaroneck Show is next day.

pete you definetley had the best spot on the field between those two trees. it kept your car safe from someone wheeling a cart into it. thats the only dowside i saw there being that a large vendor / flea market presence alot of people had carts and were wheeling them between the show cars which were already parked close to each other. it was nice meeting you, maybe next year i'll bring my car only if there is room for me between those trees..be proud of your car it really is a work of art and craftsmanship.

I'll say it correctly .We reviewed 8 AREA judging sheets out of 23 total AREA judging sheets .In the 8 reviewed so far 3 of those had mistakes. In "1" AREA more then 5 points....................That will put the car well over the 480 mark.. IT'S in black and white! Vince ,i feel better now....l.o.l. I have "NO" future in MARC/MAFCA competition ever again.... And as retracting the Henry Ford award that's fine with me too! If you look close at the picture taken at this meet "NO" award is on the car!!!!!!! I'll send the award back as long as a check$$$ is sent to me for my time lost at the French Lick! $2,850.00 will be good. P.S. it does not mean much to most people [Henry Ford Award].Most people in the "A" hobby don't even know what that means... At Macungie meet some people could not believe my top..SUPER JOB... .Who did it??? Bill Sturm . "WHO".. How does it compare with LB.s??? What is the price of his "KITS" ...What ,i can not believe the questions asked...Vince put yourself in my spot. Worked on a car for 7 years, time, money, reading and more reading on standards, phone calls, tracking down n.o.s.parts such as rear fenders ,top irons, amp g. wing nuts ,top prop knobs, full set of lug nuts, bumper clamps lg,sm.,just to name a few. And it boils down to 2 days of judging. And in those 2 days of judging and 2 days to follow on going over 21 car sheets how does making mistakes happen in such a large number. ??? All i say is everyone check their sheets. I have 2 judges doing the checking to back me up. And so far the car is over the 480 mark! p.s. i did not moon "ALL " the judges ,,just the nick pickers...
