Macs terrible service !!!!!!

I've had decent service with Mac's in the past.
Have not ordered with them since the Eckler's buy out

Yep....NOS rocks!!

Been looking for this pan for quite awhile, Keith at NOS had the pan in stock and found another supplier for the fill tube. Top notch customer service.:)

I have mixed feelings regarding MAC'S, but I had to share this one with you.......


Yesterday (08/29/14) I received a phone call from MAC's, letting me know the back ordered dove tails for my doors will "soon" be available, at least they expect to have them ready to ship, sometime in November.

I ordered them in October, 2013 !!

I wonder why they called after 10-months, only to tell me it's "status quo" and I MIGHT get them in another 3-months ???

When I asked about the horn button spring I ordered at the same time (11/2014), but never received, the young lady from MAC'S told me that I must have already received it because they don't have one on back order !

MAC'S.....here's your sign........................ :rolleyes:
 
They were not Eckler's yet in October 2013. Very interesting story Tagman. Let us know when you get them--if ever.

I ordered from Mac's/Eckler's yesterday August 29, 2014. They said it would be at my house by Thursday Sept 04, 2014. We'll see. I have not ordered from them since it became Eckler's. I order my stuff from Joe's or C&G.
 
I've had parts from MAC'S in less than 4-days before. The problem with the dovetails is probably due to a Vendor supply problem, but you'd think they could have communicated that before 10-months was my point.

I don't need them for a while, so I'll wait & see, just for the heck of it.
 
I placed a small order Thur. AM and received via USPS Sat. Did not pay for special handling.
I think they are trying to improve.
The online listings are not all correct. I bought a fuel pump diaphragm for an 8BA.
It is correct but listed as fitting 28-34 on webcatalog. I could cite other similar items.
