Macs - Ecklers , delays ?

I use C and G for my parts. They tell you upfront if the part is on back order and you have the option to wait or not for it. Their shipping is reasonable and usually gets to me in a couple of days. I'm not too far from Sacramento Vintage and gave up on them sometime back. Rarely do they have an item in stock. Recently called for some Model A parts (radiator, door handle, some gaskets, etc.). Order totaled almost $1000 and none of it was in stock. Called Bert's Model A Shop in Colorado and got everything we needed within a week.
 
WAs reading just now a different post by Grumppyoldman, he is having brake shoe issues with brakes from Mac's AND having issues with Mac's answering the phones.
 
My gripe is parts show up online as being in stock but once the order is placed, they are out of stock.
 
I`ve placed orders to Mac`s two times, the first one in 2016 shipped to an hotel in New York( I was there to receive the parts) , and the second shipped to Argentina, and it took 10 days since the order to the arrival, never used the phone, just e-mails, and everything turns out OK, so no complaints here.
