Mac's catalogs are a wealth of info, no matter where you place your order. I have no interest in getting into an argument with anyone about anything, just posting my perspective as this piling on mac's gets a little old. They definitely have their place among the model a parts houses.

In the "good old days" it used to be that the more you ordered, the cheaper the shipping, and above a certain value shipping was free. Nowadays, the more you order, the more the shipping goes up.

Yeah, I just had a bad run in with MACs. Ordered a substantial amount of parts to repair my transmission. Got it all but the color that holds the pedals on the shaft. Initial oder placed Dec 2015, called for update late Jan 2016 told me that it's backordered untill late March. Now early April they tell me they won't have them untill July 2016. $5.00 part come on they totally lost any future business from me, and I hope you too.

Good grief! Just order that part from one of the other vendors, they are ALL perfect.

I totally agree with you Ted. The Mac's rep told me that not one of the complainers refused to accept their catalogue which to me is a double standard. Bottom line us if you don't like them don't buy from them. Pretty simple . Wayne

Why not just order it from somewhere else? I don't use Macs at all, but it's not their fault if their vendor cannot get the part to them.
 
With all the negative press on this site regarding Mac's, it absolutely baffles me that people keep buying from them and then have the gall to complain about it here. If you are going to buy from Mac's anyway, and then don't like the results, airing your laundry here isn't going to solve anything.
