Mac's ads

Paul, there should be an option at the bottom of those emails where you can opt out. I haven't had any since I did that.

Same here. I get this a lot from a variety of places I have ever bought stuff from. It usually works to opt out and it did with Mac's. I have had some places (None in the Model A world) that don't pay any attention to the opt out, but my email provider allows me to add them to a spam list and then they just go to the junk mail folder and that gets cleared periodically and I never see them in the inbox.

There is a good reason to have more than one email address. The second one is call your 'spam' account and given to people until they prove themselves adult enough to have your real address.

Iv'e got some really good deals from those Mac's emails. Some off the offers not so good but you can get 20% off if you watch for it.

I never opened the constant Email because I never purchased from them, I thought it was a virus.

I was in the market for a selection of parts for my 1928 Standard Roadster. Including a transmission rebuild kit at around $1,000 plus the other bits total around $1,300.

I watched the Mac's sale and decided to place my order. I insisted on a breakdown of the sale items. To be told by Mac's.... are yes, the transmission parts are already discounted so do not qualify for the sale price.

End result, I checked the other suppliers, and purchased from Snyder's at their normal price. Snyder's normal price turned out to be the same as Mac's all inclusive sale price.

Plus Snyder's delivered in one delivery.

So much for being bombarded with sale "offers" from Mac's. Load of BS.
