Lug nut washers - are they worth it?

I have painted my wheels just outside .The inside is primer not rusted after all these years I left alone. I was wondering where I can lug nut washers?

FWIW.... from Snyder's catalog:

"Wheel Nut Washers: A tapered stainless washer to make worn wheels fit better. We only recommend using these if the tapered area of your wheel where the lug nut seats is badly worn. No washer will prevent paint from chipping. Paint in your wheel must be sanded or filed out to keep from chipping"

If I powder coat my wheels, will they be tough enough to not scratch/chip from the lug nut?

The paint on my wheels always seemed to want to chip whenever I would put a wheel back on. Noticed the vendors sell these stainless washers, just not sure if they were needed with powder coated wheels.

YES, they are 'worth it', especially if used for their intended purpose....which is to make rims with wallowed/hogged out studs holes usable and safe again ! These stainless steel parts are one of the best conceived and made parts for us ...ever !
