Lug nut torque setting 35

Is there a suggested or prescribed torque setting for wheel lug nuts for my 35?

I seen anywhere between, "no need to set it", to between 65-80

What year car is that table for? I note it mentions steering arm idler to frame. Is it 49 up perhaps. I'm willing to revise my settings to 60-65 based on the table unless anyone can find info relating specifically to the wire wheel era cars. (32-35)
Mart.

Mart, I searched extensively years ago and the only table I could find was this for Mercury and Lincolns as listed on the right side column headers. The fastener sizes are the same, of the same hardness, so I called it good. I set min to 62.5 ft-lbs. The values are a little higher than grade II values.

You all do of course realize that back in the day when real men were mechanics, they were all born with Mother Nature's torque wrenches in their wrists?

One of the frequently under-appreciated details is the note at the bottom "The Torque Values Given Above are Based on Dry - Unlubricated Conditions". The difference in clamping force compared to torque value from just a film of oil on your finders getting on the threads is substantial. I am aware of one aerospace company that completely quit using dry torque values and only used lubricated values since the dry values were not reliable enough in a shop setting. Of course this was for assemblies where the fasteners were sized to do the job, and no bigger, so there was little tolerance for overtorquing. Our old Fords have a lot more tolerance designed in, but I try to achieve the dry condition when following Ford's published torque tables.
