Lowland Tour

the Santa Clara Valley Model T Club just had the 41st annual Endurance Run and Lowland Tour. The Endurance Run is for Model T speedsters, and the Lowland Tour is for anyone with an old car. Of course, there were lots of T's, but there were just as many A's, as well as Lincolns, Packards, Pierce Arrows, and even a Chevy or two. The A's arrived early and lined one side of the street, with T's on the other as we awaited the arrival of the speedsters.

GReat pics-wish I had know about it I might have had to go. I just noticed something on the AA. There are no bumper clamps-well just the one. Anybody know why not? What is holding them on?

Mike

I blew up the picture (+400) and you can see the bumper brace runs from the outer end bolts to the frame and then to the center clamp.

that bumper is the rare deluxe AA front bumper.

The Lowland Tour and Endurance Run is a real fun event. Anyone wanting to go keep tabs on the SCVMTFC web site. It has been a regular event every Spring for 41 years

Mike, you might also be interested in the History in the Park event this September. Old cars from all the local clubs will be there. The Model A club is a big participant.
