lost my best friend today

Sending prayer's and comfort for your loss. Your post has hit home for me as my wife found out within the last month, two weeks apart that she has "double" cancer and she is a young woman. SO praying for peace and healing for you my Fordbarn friend!!!
 
Stan, I am very sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my wife and best friend of 53 years in May of this year. It really hurts and will hurt for a long time. Don't keep your emotions pent up inside you. Let it out and don't worry about it. There will be reminders of her every day. Some things will make you cry and some things will make you smile.

I'm very sorry for your loss, May She Rest in Peace. I will pray for her, it is always sad to lose a loved one. Take care of yourself and speak to some one at your church about grief counseling.
 
Stan, I am saddened to learn of your loss. Don Rogers said it best as the memories will come from a myriad sources day in and day out. I lost my best friend, my wife, Elaine. to cancer two years ago next month and my advice is to take it a day at a time and dwell on all of the good times you had together through the years. With time the pain will begin to fade.
 
Stan, as others have mentioned, try to stay busy. Also lean on friends and family. I cannot imagine what you are going through, my prayers are with you Sir. God Bless...
 
Stan, I don't think you've lost her, she's will be within your thoughts always.
My prayers go out to you at this time of grief.

Like so many of you, my wife is my best friend. Stan, my heart goes out to you as I cannot express what you must be feeling. Stay strong and know you will meet again on the other side. God bless you both.
 
Thanks to all of you that sent me replys to my loss. It has help me a lot to know that there are people that never knew me and that they care, I really appreciate it very much, it realey helps me, thanks again. Stan White. PS Its going to take me a while! But I will try my best. Stan White
 
Stan,so sorry of your precious loss,lost my wife of59 years10&1/2 months 3years ago does get a little easier but not much staying busy helps.Cliff.
