Lost Address & phone

Hi, Does anyone have the phone or address of the gentleman that can mount an alternator to the front generator pulley plate of my '41? Or better still, who can convert my generator to an alternator?

Thanks

Joe,

In my opinion you and your wallet would both be better off if you had your original generator rebuilt (and changed to 12 volts if you desire). This may not apply if you have abnormally high power requirements. Note that you need to find someone to do the job right. Too many times a "rebuilt" generator is just one that had the immediate failure repaired, was repainted and sold as rebuilt. Be sure to talk with local club members and find someone that will do the job right.

Joe,

I still stick to my previous comments but if you must the person that puts an alternator inside a generator body in Southern California is Ed Whitney, (714) 527-1432. As an aside you should add your general location to your posts since there may be someone closer.
