Golly am I happy. I took a break tonite from my TCA labors and fooled with my 30 Cabbie. I fixed the tailpipe problem I hope(New insulated rear clamp for the Aries- type exhaust system. This clamp allows the stainless system to expand with heat.)
Then since the engine was idling poorly I thought I'd fool with the GAV. I tired to turn the choke rod from the engine compartment and low and behold the brass valve turned in its threaded hole in the Zenith carb. So what air the carb was getting was comng around the threads and into the carb. Fixed that and she idles much better
