well guys looks like i got srewed now his phone dont work his name is Bob bornstein 312 lincoln Burbank CA 91506 he got me for 275.00 its been 60 days that he got the postal MO his bisiness is or was pacificsteeringcolumn :(:confused::mad: is there any one out there that can run him down now i gess i go to the feds Bob if you read this get your *** in gear the money was sent for a 32/34 pickup floor pan
 
Ray, this really belongs in the "Discussion" forum, so more people will see it and help with advise.
I would contact the Post Office right away, before anymore time elaps, and get the ball rolling.
You can allways stop action, if he comes through, but I wouldn't wait any longer. ;)

Post this over on the Jalopy Journal discussion forum. There are a lot of members who live in the region of the guy that took your money. They might have had the same dealings with him.
 
Yes put in on HAMB or Jalopy Journal (same thing, no?)

I know at least 4 or 5 guys in Burbank that are on there.
I'm not too far myself.

I might have a friend that has a Detective buddy out there too. :cool:
 
I am sorry, but I have joined the Bornstien haters club, so I know how you feel. I wonder how many persons he sold the floor pan too?
 
this has been over with for weeks now i got the floor pan 9 weeks after it was payed for with the help of outher barn members lets just drop it been there done that do not want to go back and yes i would do business with MR bornstien again now that i have outher members backing have a safe 4th and GOD bless THE U.S.A.

I am glad it finally worked out for you. I have known Bob for about 40 years. I was the one who contacted a mutual friend about the situation when I read your original post. That person got in touch with Bob and was able to get him off of dead center. There is no excuse it should have taken that long but I find I do not get things done quite as fast as I used to.

Thanks for posting that everything finally worked out.

Fortunately, I have found Bob Bornstein to be the opposite of the original message. Bob went out of his way to help me with questions on an available 1934 part, shipped the item very well packed and very timely, well beyond any benefit to him. A good guy who I would deal with any time without concerns. Thank you Bob. Walt K in PA
