Looking for Engine Rebuilder close to Kentucky

Looking for a machine shop to rebuild my 46 flathead V8. I’m in south central Kentucky. Looking for places in surrounding states. Any help is appreciated. It’s been at two different places for a year at each place.
 
I feel for you. I don't know of any flathead specialists around Paducah, but know of a few who have done one or two. None to recommend, tho, sorry. Have you tried E. Tennessee? There are several around there. You might try the Nashville area, Michael Driscoll might know several, he is Third Gen Auto at McMinnville. His Fordbarn name is 35Ford something.

35fordtn is Third Gen Auto. He is very knowledgeable and helpful, kind of a one man shop tho, from what I've heard. Lloyd's Paint and Glass may be in your area, he's a builder on the HAMB forum. He'd know someone, too.

Good luck. I feel your pain. Had my C69A sitting at a local machine shop for 1.5 yrs. Told him if he didn’t start working on right then and there I was taking it home. He started on it right then. lol! Ended up doing a great job, but mine was always pushed back for “commercial” customers.
