Looking for an Authentic 1930's GPS?

Ran across this today. Had to share. No global positioning satellites in the '30's of course, but this was pretty cool. Anybody ever see one?

They were rolling maps, you got them from the company that made the unit. If you told them where you were going they'd send you the map. Saw one of them back in the 50's when a friend bought an old car that had one in it.
