Looking for a V-8 rebuider

Fordbarners: I have a 37 V-8 engine that needs a rebuild. Who would you recommend? I would like for the vendor to rebuild and install. Any suggestions. I live in far SW Virginia near TN, KY, NC, and WV.

You might want to contact Michael or Danny Driskell @ Third Generation Automotive in TN, and see who they would recommend.
 
If you can make it as far East as Lanexa VA (route 60 15 miles west of Williamsburg) you can count on Jimmy's Engine Service. John Mullen works in that shop and has done many flatheads, including mine. They have a test stand for the flathead, but do not install. Buy an engine hoist with load leveler for about $200, and pull it and install it yourself.
 
Its odd that no one mentioned Walt Dupont...:) But i guess by what he said yesterday he's cool it for now and doing yaddd work:D

Did fantastic by me.

Certainly, that Mark can't be the famous Mark Moriarity that built the infamous "Atomic Yard Master" mower, among hundreds of other mechanical wonders? Nah..........! DD
