looking for 28-29 truck pics

I got my dad into the A seen and We just bought a 29 pickup was suppose to be a joint project but I think he has takin a likeing to it and has clamed it for his own. LOL he tells me don't worry about his truck go work my 30. He is having such a blast with it I just let him be. But he wants to repaint it. He going to need me for that cause im a Body man and he sucks at body work. he! he!. any way Im looking for pics of 28-29 trucks so he can pick out a paint sceam. I say green or grey but since he has claimed it its his desition. Here are a few pics to get yall started. the truck pictured is not his we have a cc but I like the colors.

Have you considered black on black? Rarely see one like that.

I believe that if you stick to the original colors for your body style and year, that it retains more value, and it easier to sell if you get to that point. Color chip books are available at a small cost.

The truck is red right now I think it was originaly a dark green like TomW's truck because I can see it in places but as old as the truck is you can never be sure. Im definitly going to stay with an A color just wanted to see a few trucks in different colors, mabe one would spark a nerve. And the black on black idea sounds good.

If I had a 30-31, I would go with a color and black fenders, but the 28-29 has such classic front fender curvature around this huge 21" wheels, that it has a more antique look with black on black. More like a "T". They were available black on black, and that's the way I'm doing my 29ocpu.
Oh, and NO white walls - yuk!
