LOOING FOR Some 1932 HELP
Yes I am a rookie to these computers and this is my first site I joined so bare with me. Not sure if I am doing this correctly but here goes anyway. I picked up and still have my two 1932 ford BB's 40 years ago. My big BB I restored completely stock back then, with the original four cylinder. The other was a BB but was for parts and not much there (rust) really really gone Anyway the second one I made into a street rod pickup truck, being I was told I was crazy to try and it could not be done, CHALLENGE LOL, back then I put in a 1968 Ford 302 with a C4 I now want to make some changes and make it into a 4x4 (Chevy Tracker engine,Suzuki Samurai axles). I would like to take the 302 and put it in the stock 32BB without butchering it if possible. Two ways to do this from the way I see it,first (the way I want to do it) is find a adapter to put the 302 onto the stock trans.I am not a mechanic (just old body man) so I do not know what or where to get it, so this is where I REALLY NEED HELP, The other way is to stretch the frame and put the 302 in with the C4 that way I can keep the stock rear end and mechanical breaks etc....if I stretch it. Both trucks are like my babies like I said I had for 40 years (My two boys come first, wife left me years ago LOL) I fig I cant take them with me and I may as well use the big truck on the farm and have some fun with it. So anyone out there in computer land hehe know where or what I need to do the engine swap? Has it been done or an adaptor made before? I am from Ripon WI not many old car people around here anymore that I know of to ask. I am one of the last crazy car builder people around here (Built some awesome thing in my day) and you will never stop me till I die, just not as fast anymore LOL Give me a shout mkrause32@yahoo.com Growing up I have always been a Chevy guy, strange I have more Fords now then Chevys now. Just sold my 43 Ford :)GPW

I always thought the 289 was the same as the 302 but now see there were early 289 before what 1964 (not a ford guy) and I dont know if bolt patterns are the same and I am sure there were different trans in 32 cars, small trucks, big (BB) trucks.
