My grandpa is putting his 28 Phaeton together and wanted me to ask if anyone had a set of 28-9 Nickel Plated Headlights for his car.

He said Mike's was the only folks that carried them and they are out.

Many thanks,

Tim

My guess is that your grandfather is not aware that one type of headlight was used in 1928 and thru February 1929 and another type was after that. If the car is a 1928 I would narrow the search from 28-29 headlamps to 1928 headlamps. The 1928 headlamp has smaller wire opening in the base, no "Twolite Headlamp" wording on top and uses a fluted lens. It has a parking light and a driving beam. The 1929 lamp has parking, low beam, high beam. I can supply 1928 headlamp buckets to replate and restore but do not have any restored units. By the way if the car is not a show car the stainless reproduction lamps have a nice almost nickel appearance, but are really the 1929 style.

Hi, I have a pair of 28-29 headlights in orginal nickel in nice condition, would not take much work to put them on and use. $125.00 plus shipping, can send pictures if you send email or call 517-486-2032.
