Looking ahead to spring

The only way to make it through the winter for me is to look ahead to the swap meet season. I want to attend the Jefferson Wisconsin swap in April and wondered if it has a lot of Model A parts and other pre-war stuff or if it is mostly post-war and muscle cars??
Thanks, for any comments and coaching - Jay Self

Although you didn't ask, I have noticed that the Iola (also in WI) swap meet has less and less model A parts over the 5 years I have attended (there weren't all that many model A parts 5 years ago either, but less now). I guess that is expected as time goes along. I still go, as you never know what you might find. I have never been to the Jefferson swap meet, but have heard of it, so I don't know anything about it. I guess we all have to face it, original model A parts are getting scarcer, as might be expected.

You might consider coming to San Diego for the annual Big 3 Swap Meet, February 21-23rd, at Qualcomm Stadium. There is always a lot of Model A stuff that shows up.

Thanks for all the replies and suggestions!! I have been to Wichita a couple of times in the last 4 or 5 years - is a good meet. San Diego is a little far for my budget, but sounds really nice - maybe someday though.
You are also correct in saying most swap meets have fewer and fewer Model A parts show up - but still fun to 'search' through everything to look for them. Never know what may be lurking in a box or under a table.
I've never been to Chickasha, but intend to make it in the next couple of years after I have retired and can take my time driving there. Never been to the Cape Girardeau swap either - what do they have there mostly and how many swap spaces, etc.?
Thanks for the 'food-for-thought' and something to daydream about until I can attend one of them. Jay
