They got another swap coming up this Sunday

Sorry Cowboy but that ’32 has a 39 3spd, never has or ever will have an automatic. Also…. It has a period correct SBC, 39 trans, stock front end, stock 32 rear end (3:54), 40 brakes, and is a 100% gennie body / frame. It’s the real deal

WolfeRyder .................
I never heard a small block Chevy called "period correct" in a '32 before. Would a Hemi be "period correct" too ?
MIKE :)

There is nothing traditional about a SBC in a 32 ford...EVER..SBC were not used prior to 1955 and everything on that build points to pre 55.Please this is fordbarn..were not that stupid

absolutely dumbest statement in a very long while..... so yes, apparently you are that stupid.

That car is a mid 50's style car

SBC and all overheads of that time would be correct for a Hot Rod from that era

The Old's, Cad, Studebaker and/or Hemi's would be more period correct than a SBC in the mid-late '50's... In '55-56 the SBC was to new and in limited supply in the wrecking yards, where-as the other V8's had been around since '49..
The Stude V8 was very popular with the hot rodders... it was cheep and ran very well..
Been there, done that... Bill
