Logo turn signals question

I have a Logo turn signal kit for my 1931 Model A Coupe. For the most part I am very pleased with the product. However I find the push-button module inconvenient and not intuitive. Can this unit be retrofit to the more "traditional" lever type turn signal?

The push buttons are just switches. Depending on if they potted the whole assembly you should be able to wire in an easier to use switch.
I decided to build my own using this switch & flasher along with some LED clearance lights. I should have less than $60 in the whole setup. (adding a 12v converter and the whole thing will be isolated from the 6v system - couldn't find 6v clearance lights)
