locktite ?

Use 242,( Blue) Nut Lock, or 290 (Green)AfterLock which is Pentrating Grade and lower strength. A little heat will soften threadlockers for easier removal.
Red colored threadlockers are higher strength for studs, large bolts etc.
 
Green is perminate and requires heat to losen bolts, i would NOT recomend it. it's made for shaft sleevs that you do not plan on removing. I would recomend red. for any of these to work you MUST CLEAN according to the directions. Frank

You are thinking of the Retaining Compounds which are also green, and come in different viscocities for filling increasing clearances.

The green you refer to is 600 series a different product.
