Lock Washers - AA Backing Plates?

Did the following have lock wahsers?
1) 1930 AA Front Backing plate mounting bolts?
2) 1930 AA Rear Backing plate mounting studs?

I have two chassis that I have taken apart to make one nice chassis and both chassis were different (some had lock washers and some did not, it must have been a lazy day or what was available).

Don,

NO...They both took a bolt with a hole in it for a castel nut and cotter pin.

i can confirm that. All the ones I've taken apart did not have lock washers, just a bolt and castle nut.
