Hello all, does anyone have a recommendation or know of a shop near North West Indiana that works on our old cars and flatheads.

I don't need anything done immediately. I'll do the basics, change oil, lube the chassis, check all the fluids. But I'd like to farm out updating to an alternator soon. It has dual Stromberg 97s and runs rough till it's warmed up, seems to run rich. So I'd like to get those looked at also.

Thanks in advance for help.

Do it yourself. A lot of folks here will be able to answer questions and sort of walk you through it. You will enjoy doing it.

X2 on what Lawson posted above. You seem to have a "certain" skill and IF you have the motivation to do what you currently are doing, then what you still want to accomplish should be no problem for you. As Lawson said, there are plenty of qualified people here on the "Barn" to help and guide you, and you will most likely end up with a better job, better quality work and at the end of the day, be way more satisfied.
