I had a call today from someone looking for a 1948 Lincoln Starter. The Lincoln starter for 48 has a different starter drive and was the only change made between the late 47 and 48 and the 46 and early 47. The chassis manual states that the flywheel is different also. Does anyone know what this difference is? Is it the ring gear only or is the flywheel different also? Inquiring minds want to know.
