Lightswitch Wiring Diagram

Hello Everyone,

Does anyone have a scan or a link to a wiring diagram that shows the connections for the lightswitch? I am planning on pulling mine apart and replacing it and would feel better if I could look over a diagram before diving in

What year? There are two different light switches, but the wiring is simply a power wire, comming from the light switch assembly, to one terminal and the other brake switch terminal wire leading back to the brake light center contact.

I didn;t realize there was a difference. I am I am looking for headlight switch wiring for a 30 with cowl lights, single headlight bulb.

Ha Ha, I didn't catch on either I was thinking brake light switch for some reason; probably because I was working with one yesterday, while R & R a rear end and ****** to change flywheels. Should have pulled the engine, because that also needed to be reshimmed.

But there are different headlight switches also, and now you have specified what you need.

Compare my generator field windings polarity findings to what is shown in the wiring diagram Mike V. posted above. Both generators are shown brush end up and terminal at the top of the picture.
