Lights

Ran a jumper from headlight shell to frame with light turned on—no light. I’ll order a new li guy light switch and go from there

When you take the cover off the light switch and pull the terminal contact plate and harness off then you will be able to get to the internals and make sure the spider is turning the rotating switch plate as it should. It may have a broken spider that won't allow the light switch/horn rod to turn the rotating switch. It could have a broken wire to or from the headlamp terminals on the contactor plate. They are all spade type terminals on that plate. With an Ohm meter, a person could check every wire for open or short to ground. Since the concern is for headlamp high or low beam operation then those two wires and the power in wire would be the first to check. A person should also check for continuity between the headlamp shell and the frame to make sure there is a ground path on both sides. The cross over wires can also be tested from one headlamp to the other.

Thanks to all that responded. My lights are working. I found a frayed wire on the headlight socket. Also the wiring terminal plate that goes in the switch was going in at a slight angle so the contacts weren’t meeting correctly.
