lighten a flywheel

Has anyone or does anyone know how much to lighten a V-8 60 flywheel? Since the pressure plate and disc are moved forward will this cause a problem? Wayne

do not lighten by removing weight from the front, only remove enough to true the face, take the rest off the back between the ring gear and the mounting hub where the fly wheel mounts to the crank,

I built a 60 for a friend for a midget, run it with no flywheel, just a small in out box hooked to the crank. You talk about quick rev engine. Walt
