light switch

is there an easy fix ?

the light switch on the steering wheel is sticking when i turn the steering wheel it is cutting on and turning off the head lights

do you have the little brass bushing in the top tht goes between the light switch rod and steering shaft? That and what was said above - repo parts sometimes need a tad tweaking

If it's a repo rod the top of the rod needs some sanding where it fits into the bushing. when correct with the light switch not installed the horn rod should spin freely with no drag. A little more info as Pluck said of what your working with will be very helpful

ok sorry for the delay, my grandson thought playing with him was more important than my car lol

i got it fixed the round piece at the steering wheel at the horn button some how got bent and was hanging on the steering wheel with some straighten its free and working fine

thanks for the help as always just a new guy learning the hobby

Got to admit that grandchildren take precedence over any Model A questions unless you are as complete idiot.
Your forgiven.

no no no you got it all wrong, spending time with the grandchildren WHILE fixing the A is the best solution! Give them a teaching lesson they will remember forever.
