Light Switch Wiring Diagram

I have a '31 Roadster with single-bulb headlamps. One of the two wires to the right side has no power. Has anyone posted a wiring diagram for the light switch, preferably including the color-coded wiring to each terminal, or knows of a source for same?

On moving the switch to 7 pm (from 6 pm) up by the horn button, I get the cowl lights okay; to 5 pm I get low beams at the headlamps; and at 4 pm I get the high beams (except on the right side).

Thanks.

The rookie here. On my 31 Coupe I have brights at 8pm, cowl lights at 7pm, OFF at 6pm and low-beam at 5pm. I found this out on my first night driving experience the other day. It seemed odd at the time that the brights were not right next to the low-beams. Will it be a big deal to rewire? Where are these connections...is it that complex switch on the bottom of the steering column. If so, is that hard to rewire, solder or are these screw terminals? Is rewiring more trouble than its worth. Everything works fine except I know that the brights and low-beams positions should be next to each other. Cheers.

You may just have to move the terminals around in the sockets at the base of the headlights. Look in your owner's manual to see where the correct light switch positions are.
