Light switch... which is which

The light switch on the steering wheel of the Fordor has how many positions? On this car the top is off, second from top is off, next is high beam, bottom is low beam.
Is this right? I know one position should be the cowl lights, which is it?

Thanks all.

The ‘usual’ light switch position is off at 6 o’clock, cowl lights at 7 O’clock, low beam at 5 and high beam at 4 o’clock

Sounds like someone got the switch misaligned. I'll look into turning it around sometime. The cowl lights don't work, I just want to make sure the battery won't get drained because the switch is on.

Yes, sounds like the switch is misaligned. Pop off the light switch bail at the base of the steering column to release your switch, Set your light switch at the steering wheel to the 6 O'clock off position. The spider at the base of your steering column should also be at 6 O'clock. Now look at the light switch and turn the two slots to the 6 and 12 O'clock position and carefully tease it back without changing positions. Switch should drop in place so that the bail can be reattached as before. Good luck.

It's just a matter of removing the spider and rotating 180 degrees. Easy to do, but may take some patience at first to get the hang of how "fiddely" it is.
