Light Switch Direction

On my 36 ford, the light switch is left to right when off instead of up and down and the V8 on the horn is facing to the side instead of to the top. How would this be corrected?
 
At the end of the light switch tube it changes from round to a square end. What you need to do is remove the light switch and the C clip on the horn rod and remove the rod and turn it until the switch bar lines up, then replace the C clip and the light switch.
 
You would need to remove the light switch sheet metal can at the bottom of the steering box. Then remove the C clip at the end of the horn light switch and relocate the little formed sheet metal piece on the light rod until the ears on the switch at the steering wheel are top and bottom and V8 symbol is in the correct position.
