When getting a light switch ready to be cad plated, do you have to remove all of the inside pieces? If so how do you take it apart without destroying it? Thanks Rod
I don't believe its necessary to take them apart ? When cad plating a couple of switches a number of years ago, when cad was easy to get, I had no problem with the switches later.
Thanks Guys, best news I have had all day. After mutelating one (rusted out) earlier this week in an attempt to dissassmble it without destroying the tabs and such I was thuroughly frustrated. Rod
Do Not take it apart, but keep in mind one thing. I have cad plated hundereds of these, and usually do them 10 at a time. Every once in a while one will fall apart in plating and render it ruined. So ....just keep in mind it CAN happen. Steve
Steve, Thanks for the warning on this, hoping this one survives as findind another one this nice may take some time. This is the nicest one I have had in my 27 years in the hobbie. Rod
