License Plate Frame For Y.O.M. Plate

I’m planning on running year of manufacture plates on my car and I’m wondering if anyone knows a source for plate frames in the size that I have or if they even exist. The Connecticut plates in 1930 were very nearly the same dimensions as a modern plate at 11-3/4”x6” vs. the modern 12”x6”. The real issue is that the mounting slots are closer to the top of the plate at 3/8” on center vs. the modern 3/4” on center. Because of this a modern frame wouldn’t fit properly and would likely obscure the state and year stampings. One of my plates was never installed and was kept in the original envelope since new so it really doesn’t need a frame but the one that was used had slight bending and paint wear at the mounting points that I’d like to hide. I have only done minor repairing to the letters and clear coated in an effort to keep them as original as possible so I don’t want to straighten that plate out any further. Has anyone seen frames this size?

Look online for a vintage adjustable plate frame.
I picked this one up at a swap meet years ago.

I was looking at some adjustable frames. They may be my only option though are certainly not cheap. I found a set of stainless frames for modern plates that I may be able to trim, redrill the mounting holes and polish. They were a fraction of the cost of one of the vintage frames so I figure I have nothing to lose there.

I bought mine several tears ago on ebay for about $30 each, but looks like they have gone way up since then.
