License plate differences

In La. What is the difference in running normally issued DMV issued plates and La. 31 yr. Car plates, and Antique plates. Inspection, insurance???

Cars 40 yrs. and older do not require state inspections in La. If using a year of manufacture plate from 1931 it has to be the plate stamped "rear". As far as insurance I don't think it matters at all which plate is on it. That should not change the rate.

Here's the info straight from the state - https://public.powerdms.com/ladpsc/documents/370968
