License Bracket (Teacup Tail Light)?

Does anyone have pictures of the "DUOLAMP" stamping on a license bracket to show the original lettering size and spacing? And ,was there more than one letter size and spacing?

Was the license bracket designed for the license plate to hang straight down or tilt backwards at the bottom? The titled design seems to show in many Ford archive photos where one can actually see a license plate (side view).

Neil,

Just a bit of trivia. The '32 bracket looked the same but the stamping will be upside down when used on a Model A since the '32 displayed the license above the light.

This is the only picture I could find. Hope it helps a little?

Hello Tom, thanks for the picture of your "drum" style tail lamp. I am actually working with the license bracket for the "teacup" style tail lamp.

Charlie,The three licenses brackets I have are for the A. Two have the same Duolight stamping. The other has the letter spaced closer together but the letters are approximately the same size. It could be that both are original. I am trying to find out for sure.
