Aka, know your limitations. I have never been good with electrical when it comes to automobiles or most everything else for that matter
so, when I decided to install the auxiliary Road Lamps on our ’39 CS, I enlisted the help of my friend Cliff. In no time at all, we had everything working only to discover that one of the 6V blubs would only illuminate on low beam. A quick call to the supplier and a replacement blub is on the way. I had installed the same Road Lamps on our ’39 Zephyr (12V) last year with the help of another friend, Rich S. The lamps worked so well on the Zephyr that I wanted the same “night driving” advantage with the ‘39CS. I’m planning on driving the ‘39CS up to Dawsonville, GA in October for the Moonshine Festival, and being able to actually see (for a considerable distance) what lies ahead of you on an unlit winding road, is a major improvement.
