Thanks, ndnchf. Did you get your tail light bulbs from LEDLight too? Do you have part #?

Yes. tail lights are #95634.
I also go the 6v positive ground LED Compatible flasher 84787 for my turn signals. I added a motion sensor 3rd brake light too.

Sure appreciate your help, guys. What I like about these bulbs is they are non-polarity and 6 or 12V. I'll call them today to confirm tail lights are the same. Flasher info a big help too.

Steve, what color bulb did you use for your tail/brake lights? I have read that it is best to use red for red lenses. Don't know if that is true or if bright white is better. I'm anxious to try these because I have bought about a dozen different LED bulbs over the years and they have never been as bright as regular bulbs.

Thanks.

Ken

I have never found a LED headlight bulb that actually works in my original Ford 1937 headlight sockets.

Seth, the headlight leds i spoke of in post #3 from ledlight.com fit on my sockets. they have same base and the 3 hole mounting ring that the orig. mazda 2330 incndescent. Tom.

After researching for a couple of hours, here is what I bought:
LED Tail lights: United Pacific FTL3701LED-R $37.99
FTL3701LED-L $53.79 (has license light)
LED Headlight bulbs: CJ Pony Parts Holley RetroBright 1156 Classic White $26.86/pair
When I install and try them, I'll report results.

The headlight bulbs should be prefocus not 1156,that is not a headlight bulbs.
pre focus has a ring with 3 slots to attach it.
The reflector for an incandescent bulb is not designed for a led bulb, the original bulbs had a V shaped filament,a regular bulb with a straight filament won’t focus properly either.
Most led replacement headlight bulbs may look bright but due to the required design the light will be more of a close flood light instead of a distant projected beam .

I have only used halogen bulbs from here,Anthony has a booth at Hershey, email him and talk to him,I got halogen bulbs because I wanted to see far down the road and not birds and house numbers.
Tell Anthony what you are trying to have for results and he will recommend the proper bulb .
I run the halogen bulbs on the generator in the model A.
