1948 ford 2 door sedan leaking
Once again folks I need your help. My 48 ford 2 door sedan is always leaking from under the dash. I have siliconed the vent and the windshield. In fact I have so much clear silicone that it looks terrible. Does anyone have any ideas where these things leak at? I have even went under the hood and siliconed the fire wall and it still drips inside. Thought about taking windshields out and replacing seals but the leaks don't look like windshield anyone have any ideas? I even sealed around wiper stems still drip drip drip.

Have you tried taking a garden hose and spraying on the car with someone inside to see if they can tell where exactly the water is coming from?

A water leak can drip in one place but be coming from another if that makes sense.

Water hose is a good idea but don't use high pressure. Remove the nozzle and start low and work your way up but take your time and don't move up too fast.

Silicone will corrode the flange the windshield seals against. Polyurethane is good and won't hurt the metal. A professional glass shop has guns that can get deep into the rubber groove and seal it up tight.

I have tried the old garden hose trick and squirted water all over everything and no leaks. I squirted water for 10 minutes on everything stayed dry. I can park it outside in just a lite rain and it drips almost immediately

Have you looked under the dash board while leaking to determine exactly where it's leaking? That would give you a big clue where to focus.
