Anyone had dealings with this guy? He claims he has exhaust system components. Sent a photo of the part I needed pulled from the internet and claimed it was his photo.
Chuck

I checked on line many have that name.
All are not decent.
I would back away if he already told a fib

Tell him you have a club member who lives inthe area and wants to stop by, pay for it and pick it up. He'll insist that he needs to ship it and he is not at home, out of town on business, etc. blah, blah, blah,

When ever I have a question if a seller is a scammer I tell them I have an Army buddy who lives nearby and he'll come and look at the item and pay cash for it. If I do hear back there is always an excuse why that can't happen. In storage, seller out of town or some other BS.

Hey now, Chuck is a steady and solid supplier of parts to us here.
He was born into the parts business,
You can only wish you could be like him.
BTW Correct pronunciation would be Koontz

I've been to Chuck's house to get Ford parts. He's as normal as could be, at least by my standards. Coming from a guy that has six antique cars, two antique tractors that might not be a ringing endorsement.
