Late 36 3W coupe inside door handles

I have purchased repo inside door handles from 2 different sources. They were different in that the square mounting hole was indexed differently. One handle sits nearly vertical (slightly back) while the other is back at a 45 degree angle. Which is correct?. They both broke so I am having some made out of aircraft AL.
If someone could post a picture of an original handle installed I would appreciate it. Of all of the books that I have there is not a picture of the interior door handle mounting.

So what is the deal. I thought I was asking a simple question but I have not gotten an answer. I know there are other 36 sedans out there.

Please help and give me some advice

Hi Cal, here is a picture scanned from one of my books, "The Early Ford V8 as Henry Built It" by Francis and DeAngelis. It shows the angle of the door handle- this is how it looks in my early 3W. Scott

Saw a 36 2 dr sedan at a show last night. Handles were al most verticle UP towards the h/liner. Not sure if correct or 180* out. There was a 2nd one there but didnt get a look at it.
