Late '31 Tudor Front Floormat

I currently have the correct front carpeted floormat for my Tudor, but it's getting old and it's difficult to keep in place. I was thinking about going to a standard rubber floormat for general touring and keeping the carpet for show. Is there one manufacturer that's best - and do the rubber mats stay in place better? Any other comments about rubber vs carpet?

I too have carpet in my Tudor deluxe ( they came with carpet). Is your carpet held down with button snaps. The female snaps are screwed/nailed into the floor boards then a unusual style male snap button is fastened to the carpet. Check out Brattons or LeBaron Bonney. Their catalogs show what I mean. The rubber mats are held in place with small studs to keep the mat from sliding around. BTW, Lebaron Bonney will make new carpet based on the old carpet if mailable or will send you a paper template if your car is unusual, such as custom seat risers. I love carpet in a closed car, and rubber mats are pretty pricey. Ron
