Late '31 fuel valve--Thread size?

As the title suggests: What size are the threads on the late '31 fuel shut-off? Dug through my stash of fittings, and nothing seemed to work.

3/8 " pipe thread is listed in Brattons , 2013 catalog page 58.

Frankly I thought, that while it is 3/8", I thought it had a different nomenclature than that.
 
I would also recommend you purchase a 3\4" half inch drive crows foot. The valve has a 3\4" wrench flat that is located behind the round portion of the valve back in the indentation of the fire wall and it is difficult to remove and install without one.
