Mike, another group to travel with is "the Great Greybeard Adventure". They kook up in Southern Okahoma, and take I-40 to the L A Roadster show. They seem to have a lot of fun each year.

Good news my nephew is going with my ol man ,driving out to the L A Roadster show . Alex graduated from high school last week ,an now he,s HEADIN TO CALIFORNIA,with the ol man in the 35 ROADSTER !. Man I wish I was going ! Thanks to all ,for the PMs . Leavin Massachusetts at 4 30 AM this Saturday mornin .. As pop says its a GO,A not a SHOW,A

A mate of mine flew into San Antonio ,Texas....bummed a ride in a 39 deluxe coupe to the Roadster show.....finalising the loading of a container at the docks at Long Beach with a 46 sedan and a pick up, and getting some parts including a set of Coker Radials for my 40 coupe.........living the life? ...jealous? ...you betcha!

well , my ol man is driving to the show by himself . I cannot take two weeks off of work ,NO WAY -NO HOW . He is leaving on the 7th(sat) from Massachusetts and drivin out I really need him to hook up with some barners/hambers on the way out . for safety reasons and my own personal worry. He would tell me to go F myself if he knew I said that but ,,,hes 73 years young ,had two heart attacks and I don,t want anything to happen to him . ITS a Bucket list thing,Plus its the 50th. ,my step mom is pissed,hes going . she can,t take time off work either. On the lighter side ,his friggin car screams so he aint gonna slow anybody down . submarine vetran USN 58-62. Complete FORD GUY. He asked me today, to ask you guys if he could hook up with a anybody on the way out I,ll get his route .My 17 year old daughter was going to go with him ,but she will still be in school . PM me with your where-abouts if you can ...SAFETY IN NUMBERS THANKYOU MIKE PETERSON

He might hook up with the HAMB Graybeards tour. I am 72 and will be joining up with them on I-40 west of OK city. They will go to Albuquerque,Winslow and then Prescott and then Pomona. I am going to go thru Oak Creek Canyon and Jerome. I think about 40 are going.

Andy....check the road conditions in Oak creek canyon....had a big fire and it's getting opened back up....last i heard the road is still closed from Flag down into the canyon to above slide rock, but it's changing day to day as they mop up and fix the road, etc...have fun, it's beautiful country....at least one side of the canyon will be....and Jerome is always fun.....Mike
